We had a cruise the other day, after a lot of stop and go getting to the destination, and some intermittent traffic during, my fuel pump decided to not do its job of continually delivering fuel.
Lease will be up and I will be looking for a new daily next year. The Z most likely won’t cut it for daily duties, and I’m kind of running down on motivation with it, maybe might sell it down the road (that will definitely push me towards something more sportier, but will have quite a larger budget as well).
For the next installment of the adventure....
There is something odd about taking a running project off the road. The R154 is stout by all means. With the achille’s heal addressed it supposedly can handle 800hp or so, but it has little problems like not wanting to go into reverse and being notchy as all hell. I got the short shifter to combat the fact that…
Having a printer is awesome. I was shopping around for knobs since it seems all the ones I have are too small or too big. Then I realized, I could just find a design and print it.
Having friends is great. Having friends with similar interests is better. Having friends with different interests may be the best.
I just got back, cleaned up and unpacked.
Goodness I’m so excited. Hopefully more motivation to do stuff to come shortly.
A pretty short notice trip, but I mentioned to a friend that one of my goals was to go camping in my Z. The goal was similar to James May’s Lotus in the Top Gear Caravan episode. To make the drive just as enjoyable as the stay. Blast to the camp site taking twisty roads, camp, have a good time, then blast home with…
I can’t really recall the last time I took a road trip with someone. At least of a measurable distance and time.
Just a bit of whinging really. My car is making too much boost.
I know there are a few machinist type people on here.
In my pursuit of getting a bit out of what the car owes me. I signed up for a drift school put on by a local track. This track is really cool since this is where they do Formula D Seattle.
Ugh, just got the tab renewal notice slip.
A little click baity on the title. This is more 3d prototyping car parts if I’m honest.
Turns out this take a lot more time and effort, and for that matter skill and equipment then I thought. I had some shots in mind I wanted to take, some didn’t work out, and others were just dropped because of how cold it was. I have an hour of gopro footage, but with it being so cold driving fast meant freezing so not…
Kind of bought a lot of random camera equipment. With the end goal of being able to shoot somewhat cinematic shots that seem to be taking over the landscape.
My friend (the one with the grey Z that was stolen, and recovered, albeit missing engine and all the interior) is quite a talented photographer.
Onto the good stuff.
I won’t lie, I was a bit hesitant. Not for the lack of organization (of which there was none, Eric you did a great job), or the social anxiety of meeting new people (meh, that is my own curse), but the weather had forecasted some rain.
